Laborat\u00f3rio de trabalho art\u00edstico em torno das ideias de terra<\/strong>, escuta<\/strong>, observa\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong>, geografia<\/strong>, comunidade<\/strong> e cria\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong>, a Escola de Ver\u00e3o do Teatro do Vestido teve a sua primeira edi\u00e7\u00e3o em 2023 e regressa agora numa nova geografia: Montemor-o-Novo.

O Teatro do Vestido prop\u00f5e aos participantes um espa\u00e7o de experimenta\u00e7\u00e3o art\u00edstica e de respira\u00e7\u00e3o com lugares e pessoas. Aberto \u00e0 comunidade art\u00edstica nacional e internacional, bem como a outras disciplinas e interesses (como jornalismo, antropologia, hist\u00f3ria, arqueologia e mesmo as ci\u00eancias exactas), esta Escola de Ver\u00e3o pretende criar um momento laboratorial de explora\u00e7\u00e3o, observa\u00e7\u00e3o, partilha e cria\u00e7\u00e3o art\u00edstica. 

A escola desenvolve-se em modelo intensivo de trabalho de cria\u00e7\u00e3o, pesquisa, observa\u00e7\u00e3o e apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o, ao longo de cinco preenchidos dias, em que os participantes tomar\u00e3o contacto com a equipa do Teatro do Vestido, as suas pr\u00e1ticas e pensamentos, bem como com a comunidade envolvente, a partir da qual se trabalhar\u00e1.

O Teatro do Vestido \u00e9 um colectivo teatral formado em 2001 e que trabalha continuamente para desenterrar hist\u00f3rias, mem\u00f3rias e, no geral, camadas de sentidos, sentimentos e reflex\u00f5es sobre o nosso atribulado quotidiano\/pa\u00eds\/mundo. Dizer que fazem \u2018teatro documental\u2019 \u00e9, no seu entender, reduzir um pouco o espectro do seu trabalho. Preferem dizer que fazem \u2018teatro pol\u00edtico\u2019, com tudo o que isso engloba e implica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This artistic laboratory is set upon the ideas of deep listening, observation, geography, land, community<\/strong>, and artistic practice<\/strong>. The summer school\u2019s first edition took place in 2023 and returns now in a new location: Montemor-o-Novo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teatro do Vestido proposes a space of artistic experimentation and breathing together \u2013 with the place and its inhabitants. This laboratory is opened to the national and international artistic community, as well to people from cross-disciplines and interests (journalism, anthropology, history, archeology, and sciences in general). It is a space for exploration, observation, sharing and artistic practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This summer school will unfold within an intensive work model throughout 5 full days, where the participants will be in touch with the practice and thoughts of Teatro do Vestido, as well as with the surrounding community (a departing point for the work).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teatro do Vestido is a theatre collective created in 2001, which continuously works to unearth stories, memories, and layers of meaning in everything, whilst reflecting about our troubled daily lives\/country\/world. People label Teatro do Vestido\u2019s work as \u2018documentary theatre\u2019, but that sort of reduces a bit its scope. They rather say they make \u2018political theatre\u2019, with all that it implies, and all the scope being covered by that statement. The political is, so they believe, everywhere and in everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
