Sob forma de resid\u00eancia de trabalho art\u00edstico no munic\u00edpio da Vidigueira, esta primeira Escola de Ver\u00e3o do Teatro do Vestido organiza-se em torno das ideias de\u00a0geografia, terra, comunidade e observa\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong>, propondo um espa\u00e7o de experimenta\u00e7\u00e3o art\u00edstica e de respira\u00e7\u00e3o com lugares e pessoas. Aberto \u00e0 comunidade art\u00edstica nacional e internacional, bem como a outras disciplinas e interesses (como jornalismo, antropologia, hist\u00f3ria e mesmo as ci\u00eancias exactas), esta Escola de Ver\u00e3o pretende criar\u00a0um momento laboratorial de explora\u00e7\u00e3o, observa\u00e7\u00e3o, partilha e cria\u00e7\u00e3o art\u00edstica.<\/strong>

O Teatro do Vestido \u00e9 um colectivo teatral formado em 2001 e que trabalha continuamente para desenterrar hist\u00f3rias, mem\u00f3rias e, no geral, camadas de sentidos, sentimentos e reflex\u00f5es sobre o nosso atribulado quotidiano\/pa\u00eds\/mundo. Dizer que fazem \u2018teatro documental\u2019 \u00e9, no seu entender, reduzir um pouco o espectro do seu trabalho. Preferem dizer que fazem teatro pol\u00edtico, com tudo o que isso engloba e implica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the format of artistic residency in the municipality of Vidigueira, in the Alentejo region of Portugal, this first Teatro do Vestido Summer School is organized around the ideas of\u00a0geography, land, community and observation<\/strong>, proposing a space for artistic experimentation and breathing together with places and people. The summer school is open to the national and international artistic community, as well as to other disciplines and interests (such as journalism, anthropology, history and even the exact sciences), aiming to create\u00a0a laboratory moment of exploration, observation, sharing and artistic creation.<\/strong><\/em>

Teatro do Vestido is a theatre collective created in 2001, working continuously to unearth stories, memories and overall layers of meaning, emotions and reflections on our complicated present\/country\/world. To say they make \u2018documentary theatre\u2019 is, in their opinion, a bit reductive of what theatre they make and how they make it. They would rather say their theatre is political, with everything that word implies.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
